William P. Scone

He was born and grew up in the Binghamton area. He enlisted in the Army and went to Europe to join in defeating the Germans. He was known as Bill, Dad and Grandpa throughout his adult life. Bill was married to Mary-Jo McCormack Ellis for 41 years, before she died in 2012. Bill is survived by his step-daughter Elaine Baranowski, step-son David Ellis, son David Scone and son Theodore Scone. Elaine has one daughter Amanda. David Ellis has one daughter Kirstina and two sons David Jr. and Kyle. David Scone has three daughters Eva, Ren’ee and Crystal. Eva has Kelsie, Brandon and Cameron, Ren’ee has Mallory and Reese and Crystal has Kyle, Kristen, Matthew and Caitlyn. Kyle has a son, Kolt and Kristen has a daughter, Roey and son Ayden. Theodore Scone has five daughters and four sons, Beth, Brandi, Lauren, Nick, Peyton, Delanee, Jean Pierre, Aaron and Ahnissa. Beth has two daughters Grace and Madeline. Brandi has two daughters, Maddie and Brooke, Maddie has one son and two daughters Jude, Josie and Joelle. Lauren has two daughters Sabrina and Gabrielle. Nick has two sons and one daughter, Brandon, Noah and Ava. Peyton has three daughters, Scarlett, Hazel, and Willow. Delanee has three daughters, Eliza, Georgia and Molly. Jean Pierre has one daughter Kimbella. Bill has 4 children, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren. Special thank you to the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford, NY for the staff, Sue Avery and Dr. Autumn Tokos. They took great care of Bill and prolonged his life many years.
