Rosemarie Lozinak

Rosemarie Lozinak, 83, of Johnson City passed away peacefully Friday, February 2, 2024.  She was predeceased by her husband, John “Jack” Lozinak, and parents, Anthony and Francis Tomazic. She is survived by children, Mark Lozinak, Gregory and Amy Lozinak, Michelle Maroney, Christopher Lozinak; 11 grandchildren, James, Douglas and John Lozinak, Alexis, Christopher, Caitlyn and Andrew Lozinak, Kelleigh and Justin Maroney, Addison and Boris Lozinak; great grandchildren Kara and Maizie Lozinak, Penelope Lozinak, and Barrett Thomas; brother and sister-in-law Anthony and Mary Jane Tomazic, sister and brother-in-law Elaine and Steve Dubrava, and brother and sister-in-law Thomas and Susanne Tomazic, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.  Rosemarie was a devout Catholic and “prayer warrior” praying selflessly for the needs of others. She had a special devotion to the Virgin Mary and looked to her to help her through difficult times. She was proud to have been a military spouse and enjoyed her time at various duty stations around the globe to include Kenitra, Morocco; Rota, Spain; and Newport Rhode Island. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11am Friday at St James Church, Johnson City. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.  The family will welcome friends and family at the church from 10am until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Rosemarie’s memory can be made to Care360 Hospice in Columbus, Ohio who cared so lovingly for her through the later months of her life.  The family wishes to thank Care360 Hospice and Paramount Senior Living in Westerville, Ohio for their kindness and compassion.  Online condolences can be expressed to the family at www.jfricefuneralhome.com.
