Ronald Tripp Obituary

Ronald I. Tripp, age 84, died October 30, 2021. He was predeceased by his wife Sandra and daughter Ronnilea. He was predeceased by his parents Robert and Leda Tripp and brothers Robert G. Tripp and Edwin J. Tripp. He is survived by his sister-in-law and caretaker Joyce Gelunas and her family. He is also survived by five sisters, and four brothers their spouses and children, to numerous to mention by name. Sisters are Mona Nedlik, Judith Kavleski, Jean McKorie, Janet Williams and Patricia Molnar. Brothers John, James, Richard and Steven and their spouses and children. Ron was the first college graduate of this large family earning an Associates Degree from Broome Community College (now SUNY Broome) and a Bachelors Degree in Chemistry from Harpur College (now SUNY Binghamton) He worked at Anitec and its successors as a manager until it closed. He worked at other employment until his late 70’s. Thereafter spent his remaining years with fellow retirees and friends at the Night Cap. Ron was an inspiration to many of his survivors who hold college degrees ranging from Associate Degrees, Bachelor’s, Masters and even a PHD. He was a loyal and generous member of his large family and will be sadly and sorely missed. Family and friends can join in a Celebration of His Life at the Night Cap on Saturday November 6th starting at 12:00 Noon.
