Robert J. Decker

Robert J Decker 88, of Johnson City NY passed peacefully into the arms of God on May 19, 2022

Robert was greeted into eternity by those who went before him including his sons Robert and Jeffrey and his daughter, Cathy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Dianne (Lesko), his children, Matthew Decker (Wendy), Michael Hutchko (Shelly), Marc Hutchko (Jane), Mona Decker.
He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren whom he loved very much, as well as a large extended family.

Bob was proud to have honorably served in the USMC, and he carried those values with him during his career as a General Agent with Security Mutual.

He was fondly known for his quick wit, his sense of humor and his love of story telling.
Though, we will miss his smile and huge heart, we have the assurance of an eternity together.

Friends and Family are invited to call from 9-10 am on May 26, 2022 at J.F. Rice Funeral Home, 150 Main Street Johnson City, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 10:00am,complete with Military Honors.
