Olivia Marie Hill, 12, went to be with her Lord Sunday August 27, 2023 at the Philadelphia Children’s Hospital. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Edward and Janet Prusik, paternal great grandfather Robert Dizer, paternal great grandparents David and Regina Hill, uncle William Prusik. She is survived by her loving parents Daniel and Kimberly Hill; brother Evan Hill; paternal grandparents Charles and Mary Hill; paternal great grandmother Joan Dizer; aunts and uncles Cheryl and Jason Lee and their children Reyn and Skylar, Christina Hill and Love Constant, Kathleen Prusik, Joan and Joel Dunham, Joseph Prusik and many extended family and friends. Olivia was a beautiful person inside and out.Olivia excelled in her academics and was a high honor roll student. She was going into advanced science and mathematics and also learned to code computers by participating in the Girls Who Code Club at Binghamton University. She loved to play lacrosse, doing gymnastics and swimming. Olivia also loved to sing and enjoyed playing the piano and flute as well.She was passionate about treating others with kindness and respect as she would confidently and unapologetically stand up for what was right, and received the empathy award from the Johnson City School District. She was entering the 7th grade at Johnson City Middle School. A Funeral Mass will be offered at 11am on Friday September 15, 2023 at St James Church Main Street Johnson City. A private burial will be held at a later date with close friends and family in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday September 14 from 5-8pm at the J. F. Rice Funeral Home 150 Main Street Johnson City. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Music Booster Club of JCHS P.O. Box 6 Johnson City, NY 13790. There will be a reception with a luncheon following the Mass in the church hall. The family will be sharing the Gift of Life by donating her organs to recipients in need.
