Loretta R. Savage

JOHNSON CITY - Loretta R. Savage, 89, of Johnson City, died at home, Wednesday 28, 2023. She was predeceased by her parents Clara and Paul Pedo, as well as her beloved sister, Sr. Clara Pedo, DC. She was also predeceased by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 57 years James W. Savage. Loretta is survived by her five children and their spouses, Theresa Savage, James M. and Beverly Savage, Marie and Francis Drialo, Celeste Savage, Matthew and Anita Marino-Savage. She is survived by her beloved grandchildren and their spouses: Dr. Elizabeth Ann and Gareth Reeves, Jeanette Savage, David and Suzy Wilson, Keith and Lisa Wilson, Maryelizabeth, Jacquelyn, and Sarah Savage, Nicholas, Grant, and Noah Marino. Loretta is also survived by her great-grandchildren: Hunter Cheatwood, Megan Wilson, Abby Wilson, Evelyn Wilson and Andrew Wilson. Loretta is survived by close family friend Diane E. Hardy. Loretta was an extremely faith filled woman. She was a member of the Tabernacle Society of St. James Church where she was a member for over 60 years. She worked on many functions at St. James School as well as that of the parish she loved. She was a retired LPN of 20 years at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Loretta enjoyed spending time with her family, going on summer vacations to Cape Cod and traveling to see her sister. Her family will miss her deeply. A Funeral Mass will be offered 10:30 AM Thursday July 6th at St James Church. Burial will be in St Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Friends may call at the church Thursday from 9.30 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements are by The J.F. Rice Funeral Home. 150 Main Street Johnson City New York.
