Khammoon K. Viengkham

JOHNSON CITY - Khammoon K. Viengkham, 71, of Johnson City, NY passed away on October 17, 2021 surrounded by his family. He is predeceased by his parents, Koud and Keum. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Viengxai, three sons, Ototo (Sisay), Akoko, (Elizabeth), and Onino; five grandchildren; Gracie, Siri, Samuel, Anna, and Klah and three brothers Ninja, Khamsouk, and Steve, as well as countless friends that were loved and treated like family. Khammoon served in the Vietnam War and was inducted into the New York State Veteran’s Hall of Fame in 2013. He retired from IBM after more than 20 years of service. Khammoon enjoyed fishing with his sons, traveling with his wife, gardening, watching football and boxing, but most of all, cherished being called “Papa” by his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers please send donations in Khammoon’s name to the American Kidney Fund at kidneyfund.org.  A Funeral Mass will be Offered 11 AM Friday, October 22, 2021, at St. Patrick’s Church 9 Leroy Street Binghamton,  New York. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends May call at the Church Friday from 10 AM until the time of the service.
