Jeanette (Striley) Williams passed away peacefully at Mercy House on Sunday, September 4, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents Doris (Hickling) and Harry Striley, her sisters Joyce Willis and Shirley Berdine, her brother Bob Striley and great grandson, Silas Brunza. She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 66 ½ years, Dick Williams, her brother Gary (Pat) Striley, her daughters Darlene (Joe) Voltz and Dawn (Lee Tokos) Brunza. She was the best Grams to her grandchildren Scott (Adrienne Brown) Voltz, Mike (Kathy) Voltz, John (Cara Connelly) Brunza, Kelli (CJ) Fisher, Nikki (Ron) Miller, Dan (Cali Verrastro) Voltz and Kacie (Richard Bulger) Brunza. She thoroughly enjoyed her great grandchildren Jaiden, Chase, Trey, Blake Fisher, Breese, Mays, Maddox Miller, Everly Voltz and Fiona Brunza. Jean was a life long resident of Johnson City. She was a JCHS graduate and retired from there as a secretary in the Guidance Office, a job she truly loved. She was an active member of the Choconut Center United Methodist Church. Jean and Dick loved spending summers at their cottage on Page Lake. Our family would like to give our heartfelt gratitude to UHS NT3 for their care and compassion, especially her nurse, Taryn, as well as the staff at Mercy House. A funeral service will be held 11 am at the JF Rice Funeral Home, Inc 150 Main Street Johnson City New York. Burial will be private at Riverhurst Cemetery.
