Gwendolyn M. Tatusko

April 16, 1937 – June 4, 2021 Gwendolyn Mae (Lloyd) Tatusko, died peacefully on June 4, 2021 at the age of 84. Gwen was born on April 16, 1937 in Tamaqua, PA. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank A. Tatusko, Sr. of Johnson City, NY; four children Frank, Jr. (deceased), Scott (Joy), Collin (Keri Ann), and Terri Jo (Roy); four grandchildren, Kendra, Tylor, Tabitha and Maggie and three great grandchildren, Isla, Sydney and Roland. Gwenny (as her friends called her) was an exceptional woman and mom. Although small in stature her heart was big, and she was full of grit and determination. She was a great listener (and talker), had a knack for making friends, and had a personality with spark. In many ways she was ahead of her time. She loved her hometown of Tamaqua and never forgot her “Coal Cracker” heritage, especially Dutch Hill. She never missed a high school class reunion and kept strong ties with many of her classmates. She worked at Visions Federal Credit Union and was a fixture in the vault and front desk for many years. She was an avid quilter and sewer. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. A memorial mass will be held 10:30 AM on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at St James Church in Johnson City. Friends may call at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Tamaqua, PA at a date to be determined. Arrangements are by The JF Rice Funeral Home, Inc. 150 Main Street Johnson City New York
