Charles L. King

Charles L. King, 78 originally from Conkilin, NY, passed away peacefully at his home cared for by his loving family on July 25, 2022. Charles was pre-deceased by his parents Connie and Monroe King, his brother Richard King, his loving wife of 30 years Eileen Johnson-King, a daughter, Machalle and a son Edward Serow. He is survived by his loving daughter Shamane, son-in-law Greg, a brother Robert, 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Briana, Rondi, and Phillip. Also several nieces, nephews, cousins and 6 great grandchildren. Charles worked for the New York State Department of Transportation for 30 years. He loved hunting, fishing, making his own lures and trying flies as hobbies. He loved gardening and had a passion for the outdoors. A funeral services will be held 1 pm Thursday, August 4,2022 at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main Street, Johnson City, NY. Burial will be in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Rice Funeral Home from 11 am until the time of the service. The family will continue to celebrate at 3pm at JB’s, 326 Jennings Street, Endicott, NY.
