Carol Rumpel Obituary

Carol A. Rumpel, 87 of Port Crane, passed away on Sunday, September 18, 2022. She was predeceased by her parents, Leon and Mary Eleanor mason; husband, John; granddaughter, Danielle Furney; son-in-law, Robert Abrams and two sisters, Edith Gladdee and Betty Laszewski. She is survived by her loving daughters; Linda Chaffee and fiancé Dave Emmi, Joann Abrams, Debra and Frank Salvato, Kathleen and Larry Lyons, Susan and Alphonse Shannon, Patricia Strollo and fiancé Donald Fry; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass was offered Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:30 AM at St. James Church 131 Main Street, Johnson City. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Carol’s name may be made to (Alzheimer’s’ Association or animal welfare organization).
