Bonnie L. Sventek

Bonnie Sventek, age 93, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2021. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Joe “Spider” Sventek, several brothers- and sisters-in-law, and her lifelong friend Sally Levine. She is survived by her sister-in-law Mary Picciano, many nieces and nephews, and her very dear friend Lloyd Levine. Bonnie spent much of her lifetime on the West Coast where she met, fell in love with, and married Joe Sventek. They lived in Southern California for many years, and after retirement, they moved to Joe’s hometown of Endicott, NY. Her final years were spent at United Methodist Homes where she formed many friendships with the wonderful residents and staff members. Those who knew Bonnie saw a kind and generous soul, a person with a quick wit and great sense of humor. She maintained those traits through her final days. Expressions of sympathy can be made to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Ave, Endicott NY 13760. A private graveside service and burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, later this year.
