Betty Jo Spear Obituary

Betty Jo Spear, 78, went to be with the Lord on Friday October 6, 2023. She was predeceased by her husband Francis R. Spear, daughter Pamela Jean Crissell, 2 sisters and 1 brother and her beloved dog Bridget. She is survived by her daughter and son in law Lynn and Adriano Giammarino; sister Bonnie Dorsey; grandchildren Brock Vincent, Zachary Crissell, Adriana Giammarino, Joseph Giammarino, Natalia Giammarino; a heart overflowing with love for all her nieces, nephews and a lifetime of friends. She was employed at Lourdes Hospital and was a dedicated caregiver until her last breath. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Palliative Care Team at Binghamton General Hospital and the staff at Mercy House for their loving care. A private graveside service will be held for the family at Vestal Hills Memorial Park. To honor her lifetime of service to others, expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Mercy House 212 N. McKinley Avenue Endicott NY.
