Andrew F. Craver

BINGHAMTON - On Friday, March 4th 2022 Andy Craver(80) of Binghamton, NY went to be with the Lord after battling cancer. He was predeceased by his parent Fred and Edna(Tillotson) Craver; survived by his beloved wife of 40 yrs Christine(Kolly); Daughters Jackie Whitenack (Lance) , Julie Simonds (Dave), and Jennifer Craver; Grandchildren Georgie, CJ and Makayla; Great-granddaughter Makenna; beloved brother of Arlene Craver; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Andy was a graduate of Chenango Forks Highschool; participated in Football, Baseball and Wrestling. He retired from NYSEG as a Line Supervisor after 35yrs. Andy was an ice cream enthusiast and frequented shops around town. In his younger days he was known to be out socializing with his pal Gerald Monaghan. He enjoyed being a Moose member, bowling and horseshoe leagues, and hunting. After retiring Andy and Chris enjoyed going to Yankee games and Cruising with friends and family. Andy enjoyed summers on Cayuga Lake boating, fishing, bonfires and Happy Hours with his friends on the strip. He loved animals, at home he liked napping and cuddling with his cat. He enjoyed listening to classic country music, watching James Bond or John Wayne movies. He was known as Handy Andy by family and friends, he would be willing to help out and fix anything. He will be remembered as a Beloved Husband and Father always smiling, laughing and having a good time. In lieu of flowers donate to St. James Food Pantry, S.P.E.A.K. Or Cancer society of choice. A Funeral Mass will be offered 9 AM Friday March 11th at St James Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends May call at the JF Rice Funeral Home, Inc.150 Main Street Johnson City New York Thursday from 4 Till 6 PM.
