Stephen S. Fendick

Stephen S. Fendick, 107, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 26, 2017 in Estero, FL. He was predeceased by his parents, John and Maria Fendick; wife, Wilma Fendick; daughter, Marlene Fendick; and son, William Fendick. Stephen is survived by his children and their spouses, Rosalie Vroman, Stephen A. Fendick, Raymond and Sally Fendick, Mary Theresa and Patrick Dwyer; thirteen grandchildren, Renee Ramsey, Debra MacDonald, Rick and Christopher Vroman, Jeffrey, Patrick and Ted Fendick, Michele Allingham, Lynn Truesdale, Natalie Tabet, Stephen, Brian and Sean Dwyer; seventeen great grandchildren; four great, great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Stephen worked for E.J. Corporation for over 40 years and then SUNY Binghamton, as well as Blessed Sacrament Church.  He has been a long-time member of the Knights of Columbus. His passions were his family, gardening, fishing, and camping. He was known for his great sense of humor and quick wit.

Family will receive friends on Thursday at J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City from 4pm-7pm.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. James Church, 147 Main St., Johnson City on Friday at 9:30am.  Burial will be in Slovak Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to: Hope Hospice, 27200 Imperial Parkway, Bonita Springs, FL 34135  or a charity of choice.
