Roger W. Lott, 89, of Endwell passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. He was predeceased by his parents, Harry Lott and Cleo (Lott) Hand; sister, Ella Mae Andersen; and three brothers, Harry Lott, Kenneth Lott and Richard Lott. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Joyce; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Michael and Nancy Lott, James and Ceil Lott and Mark Lott; several grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Roger served two years in the US Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He was a member of the Endwell United Methodist Church. He retired from IBM and was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Roger loved and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Throughout his life he took pride in gardening his flowers and vegetables which he always shared with friends and family. The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Lourdes Hospice. They also want to extend a special thanks to Mercy House for providing a beautiful place for Roger to receive compassionate and exceptional care from the staff and volunteers. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Roger’s memory can be made to the Mercy House, 212 N. McKinley Ave., Endicott, NY 13760.
