Eugene "Ginger" A. Darling, Jr.

On Saturday, December 15th, 2018, Eugene “Ginger” Archibald Darling Jr., passed away, at the age of 61. Gene was born on April 26th, 1957.  Gene’s heart was always filled with love, kindness, and respect. His family and friends meant everything to him. He loved his family, enjoyed time spent with friends, Forest Lake, grilling, fishing, Buffalo Bills, New York Yankees, playing cards, and watching the horse races. Gene had a heart of gold, and will be missed by many.  Gene was predeceased by his parents Eugene and Katherine Darling, sister Janice Terpak, and son Brian C. Darling. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Teresa, children Jocelyn Darling Aguilar (Alex Aguilar), Nathan Lopreste (Heather Ayres), Brandy Lopreste (Nicholas Wallace), grandchildren, Ryder, Kellen, Parker, & Addilynn, siblings Karen (Herbert Huften III), Sally (David Subik), brother in law Daniel Terpak, sister in laws and brother in laws Loni (Jim Cole),Carmen (Keith Correll), Ronald Wanck Jr., Bridget (Brian Park),Linda Chilson, and his in-laws Ronald & Patricia Radney Wanck, as well as several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Forest Lake Cottage Owners Association.  My Darling I will miss you each and every day until we meet for our final day. I love you always and forever my one.  A funeral service will be held on December 20th at 11:00 AM at the Saint Vincent De Paul/Blessed Sacrament Church which is located at 465 Club House Road, Vestal, NY 13850. The family will receive friends, on December 19th, from 4-7 PM at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City.
