Arlene R. (Colburn) Vosbury

Arlene Rose Colburn Kasabian Vosbury of Binghamton passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018.  She was born in Sidney, NY to Margaret (Marone) and Joseph Clark Colburn.  The family lived in Brooklyn before moving to Binghamton.  In addition to being predeceased by her parents, she is also predeceased by her first husband, Isadore Kasabian and brother William Colburn.  She is survived by her husband, Lloyd A. Vosbury; sons, Dennis B. (Paula) Kasabian, David (Gloria) Kasabian, Michael (Kathy) Kasabian; daughters, Lisa M. (Edwin) Richardson, Margaret A. Vosbury; brother, Joseph (Barbara) Colburn; sisters, Mary Barton, Sally A. Colburn and Friend Edna Sylvia; grandchildren, Kylie Rose Richardson, Debbie Jo Scudder, Dennis J. Kasabian, Mike Kasabian, Scott Kasabian, Randy Richards, Jessica Kasabian, Brian Kasabian, Christopher Kasabian, Ivy Richards, Kate Richards; 22 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins; best friend Donna Marcello; gambling buddies, Ann and Bob, and Minni Krage. Arlene is also survived by her feline friends, Sunny and Baby Kitty.  Arlene sang and danced with The Rock Bottom Players, St. James players,Jan DeAngelo Players, 1^st Ward Senior Chorus and USO in NYC.  She was an accomplished artist and member of FHSST.  She was also a member Catholic Daughters of America.  Friends and family may call at the J.F. Rice Funeral Home, Inc., 150 Main St., Johnson City, Tuesday from 5 to 7pm.  A Funeral Mass will be offered at 9:30 am, Wednesday at St. James Church, 147 Main St., Johnson City, NY. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Humane Society or organization of choice. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.jfricefuneralhome.com.
