Stella J. (Prusik) Sullivan, 104, of Binghamton, the much loved and respected matriarch of the Prusik family, passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 27, 2017. She was predeceased by her parents, Stephen and Mary (Bonczek) Prusik; her husband, Richard; and her siblings, Chester Prusik, Charles Prusik, Pat Durr-Stegemann, Walter Prusik and Jean Chiaramonte. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Grace Prusik and many nieces and nephews whom she loved and adored. Stella lived independently until the last couple of months of her life. She was raised on Prospect Avenue in Binghamton and very proud of her Polish Heritage. Stella kept very active and loved to travel the world but Family was always most important in her life. During WWII, she worked as a drill press operator in Jersey City, NJ. She also worked over 30 years at Dunn McCarthy Shoes in Binghamton, as well as Endicott Johnson, where she was the Lead Piece Worker. A Mass will be offered at St. Paul's Church, Binghamton Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City.
