Ruth Rosella (Booher) Murch, age 97, left this earth from the comfort of her bed at Ideal Nursing Home to be with The Lord on Thanksgiving Day, 11/23/2017. She was predeceased by her husband John Murch, parents Oscar and Nora Booher, and her siblings Florence (Booher) Schrage, Ira and Ella Booher. She is survived by her son Don and Grace Murch of Richford, NY, daughter Gloria (Murch) Wheeler and husband William of Johnson City, NY, grandchildren Pamela Hines, Maine, NY; Christine Miller, Conklin, NY; Gina Heroux, Casco, ME; and Lynn Harmonson, Alto, GA. There are twelve great-grandchildren - Vincent, Dillon, Brandon, Tyler, Nicholas, Danielle, Jania, Caresse, Taiya, Marquin, Isaac, Latonio and nine great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Thursday, 11 AM, November 30, at J. F. Rice Funeral Home, Johnson City, NY. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 11 AM. Pastor Shan Towns of Valley View CMA Church will officiate. Ruth will rest in peace alongside her husband John in the Godfrey Cemetery, Guilford, NY. We wish to thank her church family, the staff of Ideal Living Center & Nursing Home, and the staff of Wilson Hospital for the love and care Ruth was given.
