She was predeceased by her common law husband Thomas Burns, her parents Alfred and Anna Ambrose, brother Alfred Ambrose and her infant son Andrew Morais. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Charlene Morais-Hime and her life partner of 33 years Indio Cruz, Charles and Margaret Morais, Anna Morias, Jay and Diane Morais, Edward Morais and Kathi Ellis, William and Carol Morais and Jessie Morais and John Pilipovic. She is also survived by one brother and a sister, 13 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson also her good friends Michelle and Barb of Queens N.Y.
